Who We Are
We are a Canadian Farmer export group established in 2022 by Henok Gebre and Hanatsi Asghedom. We are two entrepreneurs with a vast knowledge in the grain industry. We started this venture due to the global shortage of food products. We come with a business background ranging from working in the coffee industry. From that we managed to attract a network of farmers who grow and harvest their crops. These farmers have a variety of grains and products to offer for manufactures and big corporations. From this partnership we pleased to be the connection between the two continents.
Why Canadian Grains?
Canadian farmers grow and harvest a list of grains for their own consumption and exporting worldwide. We have taken the time to meet and greet these farmers over the years, and now Massawa Trading is pleased to offer these grains to you. 2021 Canada’s food exports amounted to $60.2 billion (CAD). Higher global export sales of wheat have shifted the momentum and in turn placed Canada 4th amongst the biggest exporters of wheat
